Here goes nothing…my blogging journey begins!

Hey everyone!

So this is my blog and I am really excited to begin this journey. I have ALWAYS wanted to do this and I have every intention of jumping in with both feet. For those of you who don’t know me very well yet, here is the Coles notes version of Leesa. I am an entrepreneur, the owner of Events in Bloom a floral design studio in Toronto; Ontario. My life on any given day involves design, creativity and great people. I absolutely LOVE what I do and if I do say so myself I am really good at it. I was not meant to work for someone else, believe me I’ve tried and it almost always ends badly! You see I have 3 things that work against me when it comes to this..the first I’m an Aries (such an Aries!!!), second I’m red-headed…see stubborn & brazen and third my background is Irish…do I really have to explain this any further? BUT when you put these things together and use them for good not evil you get someone who is extremely passionate, hardworking and lets face it a little sassy!

As for this blog, well I have big plans. I’d like to post general day to day experiences of what its like to run this business for starters. The majority of my personal life involves being somewhat of a domestic goddess..don’t laugh just ask my husband, he’ll vouch for me! I love to entertain, bake, cook, decorate, garden and pretty much anything that involves being creative. So that being said I want to start sharing all of that, aren’t you lucky? My goal is simple, to share my life and learn more about myself along the way. If I can make a few people laugh and bake a great banana bread well then hey that’s just gravy.
