Who doesn't love a hoedown?

Late summer sunflowers, apples, burlap, bales of hay, potato sack races…sound like fun? It really looked that way from my angle as well. A family reunion party put on by event planner Fiona Haig of Boncouture events was set up beautifully against the backdrop of King City acreage.

Under a tent wrapped in burlap were long tables covered in white table cloths with well suited red and white gingham runners. Small arrangements in bushels of seasonal kale, sunflowers, mums & berries shared the table with decorated straw hats and terracotta pots nestled with apples. What a great way to spend the day reconnecting with family members!
