Soft and romantic…tickled pink.

I had the pleasure of doing the florals for a lovely young couple who with the help of their event planner decided on a very soft and romantic look. Billowy spheres of white hydrangeas, pink sweet akito roses on top of sparkly silver candelabras with accents of pearls and bling in the centres of the flowers.

Classic bouquets of all white and all pink roses for the girls and a sweetheart table that embodied romance completed the look. Keeping things very simple with only a few different florals and a clear direction creates a defined look that has high impact without being overwhelming. What a beautiful wedding, I was happy to be a part of it!

John & Sandra…the beauty of orange & white.

p1020788John & Sandra had a definite vision for their day and what they wanted was tall with pops of deep orange. We definitely ran into some challenges along the way, the couple living in England made it even more interesting. But they made many trips across the pond to look at samples and consult in person which always makes things so much easier. Orange isn’t the easiest colour to work with in May in Canada and after an unforeseen weather issue that wiped out the previously chosen orange orchid we had to quickly come up with a plan B.p1020786

What we didn’t have to worry about was the weather. It felt more like mid July then late May and the couple was able to enjoy a beautiful ceremony in the gardens of MacLean House. The couple looked radiant and after finding a selection of gorgeous deep orange tiger lilies the reception turned out beautifully.

They were a pleasure to work with and I wish them all the best!
